It seems as if it’s every ones dream to run through the finishing line and get the prize at the end of a race. Well I’m here to tell you it is so and it can happen, not particularly on a physical horizontal level, but more on a vertical spiritual level. It’s a race that every Christian believer can achieve. Precious souls, If you’re born again this is you, but if not then this can become you just keep reading and by the time you get to the end of my epic you’ll know how to run this race for Jesus. Come to Him.
Many times the Lord in His word spoke on running races this is a race only for Christian, but sinners you’re more than welcome to participate, but first you must do something very important before you can start running. You must be born again by signing and accept the policyholder of Jesus written in His own blood this is what you’re running for….You must be train through the reading and studying of His holy word on the daily. This is a spiritual race Eccl 9:11, I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happened to them all.
Consider this, all the Lord want here is for us to hold out until the end this race isn’t about who can run the fastest or who’s the strongest this race is about being patience in the presence of God. Heb 12:1 says, Wherefore seeing we are compasses about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, we need to realize it isn’t about who has the most followers on YouTube, Facebook , Twitter or even Instagram. The raw truth, I don’t have many followers on either one, if that and I’m not really worry about it because I’m not committed to them I’m committed to Jesus and I love Him so that’s why I keep on running to do it. We all have clouds of spiritual people witnessing our race who are on both sides of the sideline as far as our eyes can see cheering us on. I’m running and spreading the message of Christ because I love Him theses social media places they are just tools for me to use praise God, I’m not running to tire myself out so quickly before I can make it pass the finishing line just because I see! Someone over here and say, Oh wow they have way more followers than I have they are running faster than I am! So what! I’m not about to tire myself out.
I’ve realized in my life time, if you just starting out in this Christian race for Jesus running as fast as you can I’m here to tell you, you are going to crash and burn out just as easily. So just a quick tip: don’t start out running a fast pace etc… Take thought and run with the patience that the Holy Spirit gives you to run. Run with a pace that won’t hurt your relationship with God He won’t leave you because He’s right there running with you. So don’t lose focus in your relationship with the Lord because you’re looking at someone else’s relationship with Him and wanna be them. The truth is, you can’t do what Sally, Sue or Mark do. Just be yourself and do what God called you to do, how to do it and what speed to go that’s it no strings attached.
We must realize that time and chances do happen to us all we all will get our turn in this race why do i say that? I say what the word say I believe because we’re all in this race together, not egotistical in competition to compete with one another gaining all for self, but help someone else go cross that line and cheer them on while running your race for Christ once you do that then you become one of the cloud of witness that stands on the sideline cheering someone else on for Christ. While standing on the sideline do tell them, I know the road ain’t easy and it gets hard sometimes, but hold on to Jesus He will give you strength to endure and finish this race the two of you together. Isa 40:29 says, He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. He told me to tell you that He will never leave you to run this race all alone. What a good and loving Lord He is to all of us I know because He still helping me finish mine as I cheer you on to finish yours. Now that’s showing love for the brethren.
There are still one or two more verses I wanna mention It talks about a race Apostle Paul talks about this is the same race that we’re in. Phil 3:13,14, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, (14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus….. Every believe who say that they love the Lord should take hold and reach for Jesus first and then the things that be of His kingdom He is our eternal prize in glory. We all are racing to see, behold, and live happily married with the King one day this is our high calling on our lives because everyones lives are depending on Him…. including sinners who has not even begun to start racing yet. My prayers to them out there that someone might get saved today by reading and listening to the word and being lead by His spirit. Come join the race of Christ it will change your lives forever.
Make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life today, if you haven’t already peace and blessings to you Amen ❤️
